Novation has said that they will be shipping the Speedio Trackmaker in the beginning of February. The Speedio audio and MIDI interface allows two channels of audio input and output through a single USB cable with no need for a wall wart power supply. The Speedio features Novation's "Liquid Analog" technology for low noise, high bandwidth preamplifiers.

Each audio input has an XLR / 1/4" combo jack with independent phantom power. The Speedio ships with OSX and Windows XP drivers to allow every user to take advantage of this all-inclusive interface.

    Other Features:

    • The full duplex 44.1kHz/48k operation
    • Separate Headphone and Line out controls.
    • 'Monitor' control allows for zero real-time audio monitoring or low latency software audio playback.
    • Independent gain controls with overload LED's & separate 20dB boost switches.
    • Very low latency (3mS input & 4mS output) and no audio glitches with faster PC's.
    • Audio and MIDI in and out runs concurrently.
    • Speedio "Trackmaker"

The Speedio "Trackmaker" package comes with Steinberg's "Cubasis", Novation's Bass Station VSTi/AU plug-in synth and "Novation Live", a light version of Ableton's "Live".

    Price: $369 MSRP.
