Digidesign announced that Sonic NoNOISE, a powerful suite of noise reduction and audio restoration plug-ins, is now available.

Sonic's NoNOISE is a collection of TDM and AudioSuite plug-ins for Mac OS and Windows XP-based Pro Tools|HD systems that performs noise reduction and audio restoration useful in the mixing and mastering stages of audio production. The suite of processors is a faithful reproduction of the audio restoration processors found in the renowned, Emmy Award-winning NoNOISE product offered by Sonic Solutions. Its set of plug-ins isolate and eliminate audio artifacts such as hiss, scratches, hum, mechanical, and impulsive noise. These processors work to remove bothersome noise without damaging original program material. NoNOISE can be used to restore old recordings, remove unwanted noises from field recordings, and repair audio materials that have suffered damage.

NoNOISE is designed to work in a Pro Tools context in a way that strikes an ideal balance between the workflows of both experienced Pro Tools users and SonicStudio users. Used in conjunction with Pro Tools|HD, users can take advantage of high sample rate processing (up to 96 kHz or 192 kHz depending on the plug-in) and perform audio restoration on all multi-channel formats supported in Pro Tools.

    MSRP is $ 1,995 US.
