  • Six-saddle Tele®: bridge modification is available for retrofit on any Stratocaster

    By Guest |

A solid six-saddle Tele® bridge Option, which is standard on the new "Straotelia" guitar, offered by Haywire Custom Guitars of Myrtle Beach, SC, is now available for any Stratocaster and is applicable to all Guitar players who own Stratocasters. For musicians desiring greater control over tone, The Stratotelia guitar combines some of the best elements of a Stratocaster® and a Telecaster®. Haywire's Custom Shop can give players a guitar that can cover both Telecaster tones and Stratocaster tones. A player can easily explore more of both guitars in one instrument. One key feature unique to this particular guitar is the ability to accommodate either a 25-1/2" (Fender®) or a 24-3/4" (Gibson®) scale neck with no body or neck modifications. Players can choose between a Strat® or Tele® headstock. The solid six-saddle Tele® bridge creates plenty of sustain and allows for precise intonation, unlike the standard 3-saddle Tele® bridge. Sustain is further enhanced by way of its string through body design. Roller saddles are an available option for less friction in tuning as well as different hardware color. The Stratotelia by Haywire Custom Guitars is available with either alnico or active EMG 3 pick up configuration. The active EMG pickups are noiseless, internally grounded and each pick up has its own pre-amp to boost the signal before reaching the amp—producing even more sustain. The pickups are wired to five-way switching, with a tone control wired to the Tele® bridge pickup. Features

    • Unique Strat® / Tele® pickup configuration
    • Choice of Fender® or Gibson® scale lengths
    • Choice of Stratocaster® or Telecaster® headstocks
    • Choice of alnico or active EMG pickups
$350.00 option base price for modification of your Stratocaster guitar
