Schecter Guitar Research released their new Diamond Series SW-3500 at the Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
Schecter's president, Michael Ciravolo, says "our new SW-3500 has many improvements over the SW-3000 we did in 2001. The Fishman circuit, the internal bracing, as well as the ornate trim make the SW-3500 a very serious acoustic/electric and second to none in its price range".
The 3500 features a 25 1/2" scale mahogany neck which is set-in to a single cutaway 'Concert' body, which is has a highly figured Quilted Maple top and South American Rosewood sides and back. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard features an ornate abalone 'S' inlay at the 12th fret, matching the instrument's abalone sound hole rosette.
The SW-3500 is powered by the Fishman Classic-4. Chrome Grover tuning machines is also standard on this model.
The SW-3500 will be available in Trans-Amber (TAM) and Vintage Natural Gloss (VNG). The new S-1 Elite and all 2003 Schecter Diamond Series models will be available from Authorized Schecter Dealers in February.
MSRP: $599.00
All Schecter instruments are backed by a Limited Lifetime warranty.
