Sabian Announces X-Celerator Hats with 'Air Wave' Bottom

SABIAN has introduced X-Celerator Hats, a pairing of 14" hi-hat cymbals designed to deliver super-quick and crisp responses via a special 'air wave' bottom cymbal. Available in AAX and PRO series versions, X-Celerator hats eliminate sound-muting air-lock through this wave-edged bottom cymbal. This accelerates and purifies response rates so X-Celerator Hats are faster, offer increased precision, and project with greater penetrating power.

The 'air wave' bottom plays an anti-airlock role, expelling air to ensure clean and crisp contact between the top and bottom cymbals. AAX X-Celerator Hats are crafted from SABIAN's pure B20 bronze and are available in Natural or Brilliant Finish. PRO X-Celerator Hats are precision formed from B8 'uni-rolled' bronze, and are available exclusively in Brilliant Finish. X-Celerator Hats feature a medium top and heavy bottom, with mid-sized bells.
