Rupert Neve Designs Goes Live with New 545 and RMP-D8 at InfoComm

Las Vegas, NV (June 6th, 2018)  – New for InfoComm 2018, Rupert Neve Designs is proud to announce the 545 Primary Source Enhancer, a 500-Series version of their acclaimed Portico 5045 analog feedback eliminator, as well as pricing for the new RMP-D8 Remote Control Dante® microphone preamplifier previewed at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show. Both products mark a step forward in Rupert Neve Designs’ commitment to new products in the live sound, install and broadcast markets.

Based upon the circuitry in the company’s 2-channel Portico 5045 - in use with countless tours, arenas, houses of worship and broadcast stages worldwide - the 545 is a 500-Series compatible mono device for vocal or instrumental feedback reduction applications. According to Rupert Neve Designs, the 545 “delivers the world’s most natural feedback reduction and adds focus to your primary sources” by effectively increasing the level of a live microphone signal before feedback occurs by up to 20dB. Unlike more traditional devices in this market, the 545’s all-analog signal path does not utilize filtering or digital processing to achieve its benefits, and is also built around Rupert Neve Designs’ custom input and output transformers. According to the company, this allows the 545 to “provide superb control and sonic performance without compromising the integrity of the source material.”

The 545 Primary Source Enhancer begins shipping June 2018, with an MSRP of $749.00 USD.

Also to be shown at InfoComm this week is the RMP-D8, an eight-channel remote control class-A mic preamp with Dante® connectivity, originally previewed at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. MSRP for the RMP-D8 has now officially been announced at $5,995.00 USD, and this unit will also begin shipping in June 2018.

Both products will be on display at booth C347 in InfoComm’s Central Hall.
