Building upon the success of the V-Drums electronic percussion systems, Roland has introduced the new TDA-700 V-Drums Amplifier. The TDA-700 boasts a 300-watt, bi-amp design, and versatile input/output capabilities.

The TDA-700 is a portable combo-style amplifier with a 240-watt powered 15-inch woofer and 60-watt powered horn driver, yielding 300 watts of total output power. However, the perceived power of this amplifier is much greater, thanks to proprietary onboard FFP technology, which maximizes amplifier efficiency with digital control.

The amplifier's three-channel design provides flexible routing options and for the connection of multiple input sources. V-Drums owners can simply connect a single cable from the Headphone output of their sound modules to Channel 1 of the TDA-700 and enjoy powerful, high-definition drum sounds - leaving Channels 2 and 3 open for connection to other audio sources.

An Output Select function permits routing of selected input signals to headphones, headphone + speaker or headphone + speaker + Line output. This lets drummers run a metronome signal, for example, to headphones and/or the internal speaker without running it to the house sound system.

The TDA-700 is also easily expandable into a full stereo setup, thanks to a Stereo Link capability that allows for single-cable connection to a second TDA-700 with control from the amp that's closest on stage. XLR Line outputs ensure professional results in both stage and studio applications.
