Roland is proud to announce the RD-150 Stage Piano, an affordably-priced digital stage piano that builds upon the successful

RD-100. New features include an improved 88-note hammer-action keyboard, slider-based volume control over the Upper and Lower parts, plus fixed velocity and stretch tuning capabilities. These professional features, coupled with the RD-150’s new sound engine, make this digital stage piano the finest in its class.

To start, the RD-150 incorporates an improved 88-note hammer-action keyboard for a touch and response even closer to that of an acoustic piano. The sound engine has also been upgraded with stereo-sampled pianos using Sympathetic Resonance for natural sound across the entire range of the keyboard—even in the upper and lower registers. In total, 24 Tones are provided, including electric pianos, vibraphone, acoustic bass and more. These sounds can be further enhanced with the onboard reverb and chorus effects.

Performers will appreciate the RD-150’s Keyboard Split/Layer function, allowing two Tones to be played simultaneously with slider-based control over the Upper and Lower parts. And if the RD-150 is used as a MIDI controller, the 88-note keyboard can be set for fixed velocity, especially useful when playing organ sounds. It is even possible to change tunings using the new Stretch Tuning function.

Connections to the RD-150 include stereo 1/4-inch outputs (L/Mono, R), dual stereo Headphone outputs, MIDI In and Out, plus Damper and Soft/Sostenuto Pedal inputs.
