  • RainSong introduces the Parlor Guitar

    By Guest |

RainSong Graphite Guitars is introducing the Parlor – a little guitar that packs a full, bright sound and a rich depth of tone typical of RainSongs.

The Parlor body combines the traditional compact shape with a modern venetian cutaway for a perfectly proportioned intimate guitar with excellent access to the upper frets. A lower bout of 13-1/3” and depth of 4-1/8” makes it RainSong’s smallest body.

The Parlor construction builds on the success of the recently introduced Shorty. Like the Shorty, the Parlor features a unidirectional carbon soundboard and a Hybrid body construction. The unidirectional soundboard, first introduced on the Concert Series, mimics the tight grain of a fine Spruce top. The Hybrid body technology blends the crystalline highs of carbon with the mellow tones of glass.

Like all RainSongs, the Parlor uses Projection Tuned LayeringTM for the crystal detail, warmth and volume of the classic carbon sound.    All-composite construction means a robust instrument that can withstand variations in humidity and temperatures.

Top-of-the-line Fishman Prefix electronics with a built-in tuner makes the Parlor a stage- ready instrument.

The Parlor is available with a choice of the 14-fret N2 neck (P14) or the 12-fret NS neck (P12). New to RainSong, the Parlor body features Colors! The high gloss polyurethane finish can be had in Red, Blue, Green, Pewter or in the traditional favorite, clear.

The suggested retail price for the Parlor is $2,666. Hardshell case is included.
