  • Radial Offers New Panels for Convertible V12

    By Guest |

Radial Engineering has announced that several new panels are now available for the Convertible V12, including a new modular input panel, modular sub-snake panel and a modular output multipin panel.

The Convertible V12 Input module features 8 channels in a sub-rack rail with XLR input, choice of 2-way or 3-way isolation transformer with four 25-pin snap-in multi-connectors for direct feed, monitor, isolation and broadcast feed. A new sub-group input panel allows 12 channel stage zoning with the use of radial Stage Flea, Stage Bug or Stage Slug sub-snakes. These connect to the input modules to extend to stage zones such as back line, keyboards or drum risers. The modular output panel is designed to accommodate all popular multipin connector formats including Veam circular bayonet, hermaphroditic Mass connectors and the modular ram-latch varieties. Best of all, these can be mixed and matched to interface with other regional sound companies or broadcasters for greater system rental opportunities.

The Radial Convertible V12 modular design provides a tremendous advantage over older solder style units as it allows the user to configure his V12 the way he likes and change it depending on tour requirements. The modular design also permits the sound company to carry additional back-up modules that can easily be switched out and returned to the factory for service. This is particularly handy when a pin breaks. Until now, the only option has been to wait until the system is back in the shop to effectuate repairs. With the V12, you can be up and running in minutes.
