Prosoniq Ships TimeFactory 2 Time- and Pitch-Manipulation Software for Mac OS X

Prosoniq are happy to announce that version 2 of their award winning TimeFactory stand alone time and pitch manipulation software is shipping as of Monday this week. They would like to ask all customers who have purchased version 1.7 or higher after January 1st, 2007 to reclaim their free upgrade by submitting a short note with a proof of purchase with their 1.x serial number, or the relevant Prosoniq support ticket ID via their online contact form.

Greatly enhanced in both quality and ease of use, TimeFactory 2 comes as native Universal Binary optimized for both PowerPC and Intel Mac models (MacOS X 10.4.9 or better). It supports multiple file formats and sample rates up to 384kHz and contains Prosoniq's legacy TimeFactory I MPEX2 time stretching, as well as the newer MPEX3, ClearScale and DIRAC algorithms which are used in all major high-end audio editing programs on the market. This incredible variety of cutting edge time stretching technologies makes TimeFactory 2 the most versatile time stretching program available to date.

Prosoniq is also releasing the first update for the new Universal Binary MacOS X TimeFactory 2, which addresses some minor issues that were present in version 2.0.0. Additionally, this new version now features a realtime preview while processing as well as providing better import capabilities by including all audio files in subdirectories. The update is recommended for all TimeFactory 2 users and can be downloaded off the Prosoniq web site in the download -> updates category. A new demo version is also available.
