PreSonus is pleased to announce that Lounge Lizard and Ultra Analog Session from Applied Acoustics Systems are included in PreSonus products starting with the FireStudio - 26x26 FireWire recording system.
"In my search for software business partners, the team at AAS exemplified what we look for: great products and great technology that offers our customers something unique," says Michael Logue, Business Development Manager for PreSonus. "We will be looking to add these products to other recording systems as we can."
Lounge Lizard and Ultra Analog Session are simplified versions of the Lounge Lizard EP-3 electric piano and the Ultra Analog VA-1 virtual analog synthesizer. Both instruments are based on the AAS award-winning physical modeling technology.
"We are very excited to team up with PreSonus and offer their users our Session Series instruments," said Marc-Pierre Verge, CEO of Applied Acoustics Systems. "We think that PreSonus' line of products for recording musicians constitutes an ideal environment to experiment with our instruments and more generally with physical modeling synthesis."
The Session Series instruments from AAS will be added to the PreSonus ProPak Complete Software Suite which ships with the FireStudio recording system. The PreSonus ProPak Complete includes Cubase LE, Amplitube LE, BFD Lite, Riff Works and over 2GB of plug-ins, drum loops, and samples.
