  • PowerFX Releases Two New Downloadable 24 Bit DVDs From Sample Magic!

    PowerFX announced the release of two new downloadable sample titles from UK sound developer Sample Magic, Minimal & House Tech and Around the World in 80 Raves, to provide dance producers and club music makers with an arsenal of fresh loops and samples that will captivate any dance floor.

    Minimal & House Tech includes speaker freakin drum beats, throbbing basslines, esoteric synth loops, glitchy FX, warped vocals and hits. The entire multipack download is 2.41 GB uncompressed with 3,287 files and includes 24-bit Wavs (800Mb 974 files), Stylus RMX compatible Rex files (347Mb, 705 files), Apple Loops (706Mb, 704 files) plus EXS24, Reason NNXT, Kontakt II and Halion patches.

    "Sample Magic have put out some high quality and timely electronica products recently", says PowerFX CEO Bil Bryant, "and they always record at 24 bit and include multiple formats and patches. PowerFX has just upgraded our digital distribution system and created multiple downloads for large products, so we can now offer customers DVD size downloads in one purchase and that make it easier to download worldwide."

    Around the World in 80 Raves is a futuristic journey into world dance created by techno pioneers Eat Static. Classic analogue synths and drum machines blend with live percussion, guitars and ethnic instrumentals in a nu-world tour de force, featuring loops and samples inspired by genres as diverse as trance, latin, drum'n'bass, dub, house and reggae. Workout drums, percussion, synths, basslines, guitars, soundscapes, FX and hits comprise this sample collection which includes 24-bit Wavs (891Mb, 796 files), Stylus RMX compatible Rex files (361Mb, 476 files), Apple Loops (534Mb, 476 files) plus EXS24, Reason NNXT, Kontakt II and Halion patches for 2,454 total files and 2.29 GB uncompressed.
