Powerful Q-Spot 160-Led Now Shipping

CHAUVET®, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting, announced today their Q-Spot 160-LED is now shipping.

It’s a moving yoke equipped with a powerful 20-watt white LED—comparable to a 150-watt fixture. This means the fixture is 46 percent brighter, with a lux measurement of 7,641 at one meter, than the Q-Spot 150-LED, which it replaces.

The Q-Spot 160-LED is designed for small club installations where heat emissions—due to low ceilings—are a factor, having access is an issue—no need to climb ladders for lamp changes, or where energy savings are essential. It’s also ideal for the mobile DJ looking to shed some pounds from his rig. This lightweight fixture—just under 14 pounds—comes with a color wheel with nine slots plus white, a rotating gobo wheel with seven slot-n-lock gobos plus open, and an easy-access hatch for tool-free gobo changes.

Additionally, it has 9- or 12-channels of DMX control, a three-facet prism and automatic pan/tilt correction. The Q-Spot 160-LED also comes pre-programmed with built-in automated and sound-activated programs for a professional show without the work.
