Plug-Ins Optimized for Pro Tools|HD Released

Digidesign announced that, concurrent with the shipping of the new Pro Tools|HD platform, there will be an extensive variety of new plug-ins and compatible software available. Nearly all of these products have been upgraded to take advantage of the increased processing power available in Pro Tools|HD, and the sampling rates of up to 192 kHz available in Digidesign's new line of audio peripherals.

There will be a large list of additions to the platform, with new products planned for NAMM demonstration from vendors including Access Music, Aphex Systems, AnTares Systems, Bomb Factory, Drawmer Electronics, Ltd., DUY, Emagic GmbH, Focusrite, FxPansion, IK Multimedia, Line 6, Massenburg DesignWorks, McDSP, Native Instruments, Prosoniq GmbH, Serato, Sony Oxford Group, Sound Fuel, Synchro Arts, Wave Mechanics, and Waves, Ltd. These will include TDM Plug-Ins with new features including support for 96 kHz and 192 kHz sampling rates, RTAS and AudioSuite host-based Plug-Ins and other compatible software products from the industry's best developers of audio technology. There will be additional product announcements from other developers in the first quarter of 2002.
