Peavey unveiled its new Silent Instrument Cable series at NAMM.

Designed to drastically reduces cable input noise while keeping the cable/conductor connection as secure as possible, the Peavey Silent Instrument Cable utilizes Neutrik technology to reduce cable insertion noise between the instrument and the cable at typical guitar amp volume levels.

The Neutrik silent plug on the Peavey Silent Instrument Cable features a chrome barrel, gold-plated plug finger and unique HEX-crimp strain relief. HEX-crimp technology secures the cable in a 360? vise-like strain relief grip so the cable connection can't slip or come loose.

The Silent Instrument Cable series is available in a black matte finish at lengths of 10', 15' and 20'. The U.S. suggested list prices for these cables range from $20.99 to $26.99, and they will be available from Authorized Peavey Dealers in August 2002.
