Highly-buzzed map depicts the iconic Meridian–based musical instrument manufacturer as the brand that best represents Mississippi.

June 13, 2014, Meridian, MS – Music and audio innovator Peavey Electronics® continues to receive national attention for being recognized as the brand that best represents Mississippi, according to artist Steve Lovelace’s highly-buzzed "Corporate States of America" map.

Lovelace’s map of all 50 states portrays the artwork of brands that best represent the state in which they originated. With countless shares on Facebook and Twitter and features on a number of prominent sites such as IndustryWeek, Mental Floss, Slate and Huffington Post, the map has become a viral phenomenon.

Peavey is recognized along with the likes of Apple® in California, Starbucks® in Washington and other highly recognizable corporations and brands, and is the only music industry company to be recognized for any state.

For nearly five decades, Peavey has blazed its own path toward musical perfection. Founded by Hartley Peavey in 1965 as a one-man shop, today Peavey Electronics Corporation is one of the largest makers and suppliers of musical instruments, amplifiers and professional audio systems in the world—distributing more than 2,000 products to more than 130 countries.
