New from Peavey at Summer NAMM is the Sanctuary Series SA-4200, a four-channel power amplifier designed specially for houses of worship. The SA-4200 utilizes Auto Delay technology to automatically measure and set the proper delay time for fill speakers.
The SA-4200 features four channels rated at 200 Watts each into 4 Ohms or 70 Volts (selectable in two-channel pairs). This versatility makes the SA-4200 ideal for delivering adequate power to both main and balcony/fill speakers, as well as other applications that may require multiple audio zones, such as cry rooms or paging systems in larger houses of worship.
Patent-pending Peavey Auto Delay DSP technology makes setting up delayed balcony and fill speakers systems a quick process. DSP Auto Delay measures the audio delay between the main speakers and fill speakers and automatically sets the time delay necessary for the audio to seem synchronous--eliminating the delay and phasing problems experienced in many houses of worship.
The SA-4200 mixer will be available in Q4 2004 from authorized Peavey retailers.
