Pearl to Open Pennsylvania Distribution Facility

Pearl Corporation will be opening a new 50,000 sq. ft. distribution facility located in Chambersburg, PA. The new facility is scheduled to begin operations on August 1st.

"This new facility, in cooperation with our Nashville and Reno facilities, will allow us to ship anywhere in the country in two days with standard ground service, giving our customers freight savings and expedited service, which we feel is especially important in today's economic climate," said Andy Strayer, Pearl's Vice President of Sales.

The Chambersburg facility's primary coverage area includes Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

The new facility will be managed by Mark Barnhart, who brings 12 years of Distribution and Logistics management experience from around the U.S., having worked with several Fortune 100 companies. He has experience managing large operations within the Food, Pharmaceutical, and Automotive industries.

All Pearl Drums, Pearl Percussion and Adams products will be stocked in the Chambersburg facility.
