Over 500 Indie Acts Enter to Play the Taylor Guitars and Hello Music "Artist to Watch" Showcase in Austin, Texas

Over 500 emerging artists have entered to perform at the Hello Music and Taylor Guitars "Artist to Watch"

showcase taking place Wednesday,  March 16, 2011 in Austin, Texas. The  10 artists selected to play each will have their live set recorded and  digitally distributed on-site by Ovation Towers. The showcase will be  held from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Rusty Spurs Dance Hall & Saloon at  405 7^th

Street in Austin, and will feature a headline act, selected by Taylor Guitars and Hello Music. The headline act will receive a Taylor 314ce guitar and be named a Taylor Guitars and Hel

lo Music "Artist to Watch."

A  call for entries was announced on January 28 and will close on February  28, 2011.  Solo artists and bands can still apply for free for an  opportunity to play this event at www.hellomusic.com .  Each artist that signs up for Hello Music's free service receives a  detailed Music Feedback Report from the Hello Music in-house screening  team. By signing up, musicians have access to submit for other Hello  Music opportunities ranging from live bookings to paid sync licenses,  Internet radio play, free studio time, and more.
