  • Outsim Releases SynthMaker 1.0

    By Guest |

Outsim today announced the release of SynthMaker 1.0, a new audio programming tool that allows anyone to create their own VST plugins without having to write any code.

"SynthMaker is not your traditional modular synth, it's a complete graphical programming environment," said Jorge Costa, founder of Outsim. "This doesn't mean that it has to be complicated though, you can keep things simple by working with high-level modules but then drop down to the lowest level of detail when you need that control."

The software features an innovative user interface delivering a user experience that is both productive and fun. All graphics are vector based and so can be zoomed to suit your own taste.

The sound engine employs one-sample-at-a-time processing throughout allowing you to create single sample feedback paths essential for any serious filter design. You also have the option of writing small sections of DSP code directly within the software with zero build time - all results are available instantly.

As well as exporting to VST you can also create standalone applications that work independently of any host software.

SynthMaker 1.0 is available today at a retail price of £125. The software can be purchased via the SynthMaker website. System requirements and further information can also be found on the site.
