    Numark, the world's leading manufacturer of DJ technology, announces that its STEREO|iO computer DJ audio interface is shipping to retailers. Numark exhibited the STEREO|iO at the 2010 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, booth 6400, January 14-17. STEREO|iO is a USB connection box that turns analog audio into digital signal for interface between traditional DJ gear and computers. STEREO|iO has RCA plugs for use with virtually any audio equipment from DJ mixers to directly connecting turntables to USB. DJs can connect any line or phono-level gear to their computer for recording, mixing, or processing. They can also connect their computer to their mixer and mix in tracks from the computer. Additionally, they can use STEREO|iO as a second audio interface when performing with their laptop, enabling dual outputs for the main system, and cueing headphones. The class-compliant USB device works plug and play for Mac and PC, requiring no software-driver installation or external power for operation. "You never know what you'll need to connect to your system at the gig," said Mark Matthews, Director of Product Development, Numark. "As long as you have STEREO|iO in your gig bag, you can be confident that you're covered." STEREO|iO is available from DJ and professional audio retailers. It has a U.S. Retail Price of $99.95 and an estimated street price of $49.95.
