    By Guest |

Nik Huber Guitars enters into its 10th-year anniversary with the introduction of its electric Orca guitar, which is outfitted with Elixir® Strings, pioneer of long life strings. Offered in a limited run of only 10 guitars, the new Orca, built with 50-year-old Brazilian rosewood, comes outfitted with NANOWEB® Coated Elixir Strings electric in light gauge. "We've used Elixir Strings on all of our guitars right from the very beginning," says Nik Huber of Nik Huber Guitars. "They always feel new and offer tremendous longevity, which is a great complement to our instruments. By building our instruments with Elixir Strings, we are able to give our customers a quality guitar that delivers an enjoyable playing experience." The new 10th anniversary Orca features a beautiful hand-cut "Orca Family" inlay made of onyx, silver, black pearl, and mother of pearl. Nik Huber Guitars was founded by Nik Huber in 1997. Today a team of five highly skilled specialists build nearly 120 instruments a year, all of which are handcrafted. Since its first attendance at the Frankfurt MusikMesse in 1997, Nik Huber Guitars has gained a worldwide reputation as a premier manufacturer of high-class electric guitars. In 1999 the expanding company moved to a commercial park in its hometown, Rodgau, Germany and resides now in a fully equipped, state-of-the-art workshop.
