This new series focuses on the craft of music production, including instrument skills, recording techniques, and software-agnostic workflows like mixing music for depth and sonic dimension. There are 4 titles already available in this series.

The feature title in this series is Greg Townley's "Sonic Dimension in Mixing." Greg Townley's mixing credits include films Sideways & Wedding Crashers, and artists Usher & Lil' Kim. In this tutorial, Greg brings to macProVideo.com the first of several mixing tutorials explaining how he creates his incredible sonic masterpieces. He shows viewers his finely-tuned techniques and explains how to give your mixes the same sonic illusion complete with front to back, side to side and high and low dimensions.

macProVideo.com also announces the release of a new title in the series called "Advanced Synthesis" by Richard Lainhart. This title is the follow-up to Richard's best-selling tutorial, "Analog Synthesis in a Digital World." In these titles Richard uses a hardware Buchla synth and a software Moog to demonstrate key concepts in the world of creative sound design through audio synthesis.
