Sonoma Wire Works has launched of Sonoma Wire Works RiffCaster internet broadcast service for RiffWorks users. RiffWorks, included with Line 6 GuitarPort RiffTracker, is a guitar recording application. Uploading files to RiffCaster is a great way to post songs and obtain technical and creative feedback from the RiffWorks community. File storage is free, and there is plenty of room for content: www.sonomawireworks.com/riffcaster.
To celebrate the launch of RiffCaster, Sonoma Wire Works and Line 6 have announced RiffRumble, an online battle of riffs for all Line 6 GuitarPort RiffTracker users. Players submit original songs from May 20 through June 3. June 4 through June 13 the public can listen to submissions and vote for their favorite by adding positive comments with the 'cheer' link. The player who receives the most positive cheers will win hundreds of dollars in prizes including InstantDrummer files and Amp Models from Line 6. The RiffRumble contest winner will be announced June 15, 2005. More details are available at www.sonomawireworks.com/riffrumble.
