The Pharaoh Amps Rodeo Drive and Power Pyramid make their debut this month.

The Rodeo Drive Overdrive is based on a vintage circuit that used a unique integrated circuit design. The design calls for a digital CMOS chip to be used in a linear circuit, and has an interesting distorted sound.

    Features:

    • Sturdy sealed aluminum housing with a baked-on enamel finish
    • True bypass switching
    • Super-bright LED indicator
    • 2.1mm DC power jack, compatible with most popular power supplies
    • Switchcraft input and output jacks
    • Glass-epoxy circuit board and top-notch components
    • Stable IC op-amp based circuit for reliable operation
    • Socketed amplifier IC allows for easy servicing or repair if needed.
    • List Price: $169.99

Pharaoh Amps is also building a new power supply - the Power Pyramid. "Over the last few months, we've been building a lot of custom pedalboards for players," says Matt Farrow, owner of Pharaoh Amplifiers. "We found that most of the power supplies on the market were either too flimsy or too complicated. Many players only use a few pedals and don't need a hundred options in their power supply unit - they'd rather spend money on more pedals!"

The Power Pyramid Power Supply Unit features:

    • Sturdy aluminum housing (same size as a Class-A Boost pedal)
    • LED status indicator
    • Stable, linear regulator circuit eliminates switching power supply noise
    • 12 foot detachable line cord is included
    • Four regulated 9V DC outputs, capable of providing 400mA of current
    • Can power digital modeling stompboxes with the proper adaptor cable
    • List Price: $79.99
