The new floor-based GS30 from DOD is a powerhouse guitar multi-effects processor sporting a stylish sci-fi look and built-in carrying handle for easy transport.

The GS30 provides seven authentic amp/guitar models-ranging from super-clean to ultra-dirty-that can fill a stage or rehearsal space with the sound of a truckload of equipment. The DOD unit also puts a studio full of processing power at guitarists' feet by offering tons of fully programmable digital and analog effects, with up to ten available at one time. Effects include: Compression (with three threshold selections), three-band EQ, Noise Gate, Chorus, Flange, Tremolo, Phaser, Ring Modulator, Pixellator, Pitch Shift (including Whammy), Pitch Bend, Detune, Enveloped Flange, Enveloped Phase, Analog Wah, AutoWah, Delay, Reverb and Speaker Simulator.

The processor comes stocked with 30 factory presets, as well as 30 additional preset locations for personal creations. The GS30's custom expression pedal is fully assignable for controlling a variety of different effects and parameters. DOD's Learn-A-Lick and Jam-A-Long features enable musicians to sample and learn their favorite guitar licks at their own speed. On top of all that, the GS30 is also equipped with a chromatic tuner.

DOD's GS30 is housed in a single rugged, easy-to-carry chassis weighing less than four pounds. Rear panel connections include a single 1/4-inch unbalanced input, two 1/4-inch unbalanced outputs (for stereo effects) and one 1/8-inch stereo TRS headphone jack.

The manufacturer's suggested US retail price on the new GS30 is $219.95.
