Peavey Electronics announced the newest arrival in the Millennium family of bass guitars: the Millennium J Plus with two internally active jazz-style pickups.

Peaveys exclusive VFL (vertical flux loading) pickups provide the Millennium with rich, full-bodied bass response. Treble and bass boost/cut controls along with a variable mid-shift control allow the Millennium to produce pure, delicate harmonics or powerful, gut crushing lows, mids and highs cutting through any mix, live or recorded.

This Millennium J Plus series bass features internally active jazz style pickups and is available in either a four-string or five-string version. Some similarities between the jazz style bass and the Millennium 4 and 5 include active pickups, maple neck with the Pau Ferro fingerboards and sealed mini tuners. All of the basses in the Millennium line are composed of a 35" scale and an active tone circuit with shiftable mid control.

In addition, the Millennium basses are equipped with Peaveys exclusive Quadrajust bridge by Hipshot, which allows these basses to be custom tailored to the individuals unique playing style without any modifications to the instrument. Each string is equipped with lateral, horizontal and vertical adjustments as well as the string-thru body or top-load option.

Other features include Peaveys sleek, graceful body design. Balance, comfort and a striking visual appeal make this one of the most sought after shapes in the bass playing world today. The Millennium J Plus is available in 17 different color options.
