LSD-2 |
Adding to their line of microphones, Studio Projects unveiled two new stereo microphones, the LSD-2 and the C-4.
The LSD-2 features two coincident 27 mm twin diaphragm capsules in a single housing. The upper capsule is rotatable through 180 degrees relative to the lower capsule, which allows for a variety of stereo miking techniques including X-Y, M-S and Blumlein. Perfect for recording choirs, orchestras, bands, and drums, the LSD-2 is the first stereo microphone offered by Studio Projects.
The C-4's are the first small condenser microphone in the Studio Projects line. Featuring an onboard switch from which a high pass filter or -10dB pad can be activated and the ability to interchange between cardoid and omnidirectional, the C-4s are perfect for a wide range of instrument recording including acoustic guitar, overheads, close miking for drums and spot miking for strings and horns. The C-4's are particularly intended for stereo recording and can be placed using a variety of stereo miking techniques including XY, ORTF, NOS and spaced omni.
