Fender's Strings, Picks & Accessories Division announced the new Standard Tension Strings and Standard Tension Bullets. Both new strings sets are specially designed to allow for a looser, more relaxed feel with increased tuning stability for guitarists who like to bend and shred effortlessly.

For musicians who prefer hardtail guitars, Fender makes the Standard Tension Strings with ball ends. Those who use a tremolo would benefit from using the new Standard Tension Bullets, which feature Fender's patented Bullet ends. These string ends fit perfectly fit into a tremolo block, ensuring that they won't shift position when using the tremolo, and that they'll stay in tune longer, according to Fender.

    Both of Fender's new strings come in two different gauge sets, which are: 9 -- 42 (.009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042); and 10 -- 46 (.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046). US MSRP for the Standard Tension Strings is $9.50, and US MSRP for the Standard Tension Bullets is $10.50.
