Ibanez BTB basses were originally designed for any pro-player who wanted a thick neck, big body and a traditional feel. The new BTB300BKF is still all of that, but this version of the BTB is for rockers only.

"The new BTK300BKF still has the original BTB combination of traditional and high-tech," remarked Pete Chiovarou of the Ibanez bass division. "But the BTB300BKF is equipped with ultra-powerful PL4 pickups for the kind of no-prisoners high output preferred by hard rockers."

The new BTB300 also features a 34" scale neck for a looser tension and more traditional feel than the 35" extra long scale found on the original BTB's. An industrial-style flat black finish visually reinforces the BTB300s hard rock vibe and sound.
