Pearl has been busy updating some of the existing pedal designs, as well as launching some new models.

Upgrades on the top of the range Eliminator pedals (P2000 and P2002 series) include stainless steel screws on the traction plate, improved heel plate hinge, UltraGrip bolt on the hoop clamp system and rubber washer for the spring tension system to reduce noise and vibration. Also launched are two new colour coded cams in Purple and Yellow for alternative pedal feel and the new BW100 beater weight system (Patent Pending). All three accessories are available separately or in an upgrade pack (EPAP-1).

The new P-1000 PowerShifter ProStock provides fast response and heavy hitting power by utilizing a highly responsive round cam that accepts a chain or belt. And you decide because they're both included. It features Eliminator styling, Pearl's proven Quad Beater, infinite beater angle adjustment, adjustable footboard height, reversible traction plate, and new rubber washer for the spring tension to reduce noise and vibration. A Carry case is included. A Right handed double pedal (P1002), left handed double pedal (P1002L), and right handed double pedal conversion (P-1001) are also available.

The all new PowerShifter P-120P is standard equipment on Pearl's Export Series. It features a heavier Duo Beater, Eliminator inspired looks with a single chain and new super responsive round cam. It is also ready to be converted to a double pedal and comes with Powerplate for added stability. A Right handed double pedal (P122TW), left handed double pedal (P122TWL), and right handed double pedal conversion (P121TW) are also available.

Pearl is also launching a new entry-level pedal, the P120, which is standard in 2004 specification Forum and Rhythm Traveler drum kits. Featuring Eliminator styled footboard, this pedal includes a heavier Duo Beater, Nylon cam roller, and felt in the spring for noise reduction
