After 7 years of custom building overdrive pedals for a select few, pedal designer Michael Ibrahim has made his creations available to the public for the first time.

The Tube Zone is completely hand built from high quality/ow noise components. It features multiple gain stages designed to mimic the signal path of an overdriven tube amp. The tone control allows complex and subtle control over the overall character of the pedal. With the volume cranked up, it can easily overdrive the input stage of a tube amp, allowing you to use the pedal as a volume booster. There are also two distinct modes that you can access with the flick of a switch, allowing you to cover almost any style of music. The circuit itself is a low current design, ensuring long battery life. The whole thing is housed in a heavy duty die-cast metal case. The heavy-duty footswitch allows true bypass with no signal loss. Chrome knobs and a high intensity blue LED finish off the visual appeal..

The Tube Zone is capable of operating as both a low and a high gain pedal. With the drive turned down low, you can get some warm blues tones. As the drive is turned up, the tone starts to become more aggressive as the latter gain stage is pushed hard. With the drive turned up high, this pedal gets brutal, while still retaining a tight and focused tone like a good tube amp. Back off the volume on your guitar, and the sound cleans.

The Tube Zone comes with a 5-year warranty.
