Maven Peal Instruments, Inc. has rounded out the Zeeta product line to include furniture quality speaker cabinets that match the Zeeta .5/15, .5/30 and .5/50 guitar amplifiers. The first shipment is scheduled for October 15th.
Zeeta cabinets are made from the finest apple-ply (higher quality than baltic birch) with a natural finish on the inside. Each cabinet is handcrafted by Vermont artisans and covered with matching burgundy tolex. The results are a uniquely warm tone that brings out the best in every amplifier.
"As with the Zeeta, these speaker cabinets are absolutely beyond compare," explains Michael Bottiggi, Maven Peal's Production Manager. "Vermont is a mecca for talented woodworkers, people who have worked with wood since they were kids. We are very fortunate to be based in an area with such a wealth of talent and experience. The effort certainly pays off in an unbelievably warm tone."
Starting at $600 for a 1x12 cabinet with a Jensen C12N speaker, Zeeta cabinets range up to $1,240 for a 2x12 with two Celestion Blue Bulldogs. Coupled with the Zeeta, and these cabinets offer dynamic touch response and sustain at volumes as low as 1/2 watt with Maven Peal's patented Sag and Wattage controls.
Maven Peal's Sag Circuit gives guitarists control over power amp distortion with the turn of a knob. Lower amounts sag (as low as 0%-lower than any other amp ever made) give the amp a harder feel and brighter sound, while higher amounts of sag (up to 25%-higher than any other amp ever made) fatten the sound.
