Marshall Amplification is launching the new Limited Edition Zakk Wylde Signature amplifier head at the Winter NAMM show. The 100 Watt, all-tube 2203ZW is one of Marshall's 2203 JCM800 heads with two distinct differences -- a custom-finish designed by Zakk himself, and four 6550 tubes in the power stage for the high headroom, wide frequency response and aggressive edge for which these tubes are renowned.

This collaboration between the popular guitarist, a longtime Marshall user best known for his guitar wizardry with Ozzy Osbourne and his own outfit, Black Label Society, combines custom design with classic Marshall touches for a look and sound worthy of Signature Limited Edition status. The new 2203ZW features a custom front panel, a distinctive small gold Marshall logo, and the addition of a vintage style handle. Its baffle sports the same distinctive fret cloth found on Marshall TV speaker cabinets, rounding out the look of this limited edition piece.

The 2203ZW limited edition package comes complete with a deluxe user's manual, a bag of collectible Zakk Wylde guitar picks, a custom cover, and a certificate of authenticity.

The Zakk Wylde 2203ZW Limited Edition Signature head will be available late spring 2002 with a list price of $2250.
