Continuing to grow their high-end Janus Hardware line, Mapex Drums introduced the Janus Ergo Hat at the NAMM 2004 Winter convention. After several years of research and development by the engineers in Mapex's manufacturing facility, the Janus Ergo Hat will be available to customers immediately. Featuring a dozen separate adjustment settings, the Janus Ergo Hat allows drummers to achieve literally hundreds of positional combinations.

Janus Hardware represents a new line of ergonomic, durable tools, designed for today's professional drummers. In addition to the Ergo Hat, the line also includes the Janus Ergo Pedal and the Janus Transmission Hi-Hat System. All Janus products are made to rigid specifications in Mapex wholly-owned manufacturing plant.

The Janus Ergo Hat is unique in that the head of the Ergo Hat can tilt and swivel into hundreds of positions. It is the perfect hi-hat stand for players that play multiple gigs; regardless of the drum configuration, the Ergo Hat can be easily adjusted to fit right in. The base plate is built for maximum stability and includes a Velcro Plate for stability on any surface. The legs on the stand can easily be removed, allowing the stand to be clamped to other hardware for additional flexibility.

The Janus Ergo Hat is available both with the swivel top (JNSH7000 Retail Price $229.99) and without the swivel top (JNSH6000, Retail Price $179.99).
