MADE IN THE USA ACCOLADES

ANOTHER HONOR FOR GIBSON

Gibson is one of the 2015 inductees into the Made in the USA Hall of Fame, which started in 2010 and now has more than 100 members. These companies represent the icons of American industry, as well as vibrant new technology companies.

The criteria for this award are quality, competitiveness, and impact. Judges consist of three independent judges who have expertise in the product class; however. outside references for quality (such as Consumer Reports, J.D. Power & Associates, and the Malcolm Baldridge Awards) are also considered.

The Made in the USA Foundation is a 26-year-old, non-profit organization. It has drafted and lobbied for country of origin disclosure legislation, including the American Automobile Labeling Act and the Country of Origin Labeling Act. The Foundation has also worked to create a nationwide definition for “Made in the USA” of 75% U.S. content.
