  • Liquid Metal Guitars Are Now Installing Black TUSQ XL Nuts on All of Their Guitars

    By Guest |

Graph Tech Guitar Labs, the world's largest guitar nut and saddle manufacturer is now supplying Liquid Metal Guitars with Black TUSQ® XL self lubricating nuts for all of their guitars and String Saver saddles for their LMG "T" models. Black TUSQ XL nuts are designed to boost guitar tone and performance. This precision engineered nut is made with a specially formulated material which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and brings out the hidden harmonics and richness in every note. It is based on the highly resonant TUSQ man made ivory, but is impregnated with Teflon™ to improve the tuning performance of the guitar. String Saver saddles are made with a unique combination of materials which enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. As a string moves and vibrates against a String Saver saddle, a thin Teflon™ film is created. Teflon eases the grip of the saddle on the string and microscopically spreads the stress over a greater portion of the string. For string breakage reduction the difference can be dramatic. "We are totally thrilled to be working with Graph Tech Guitar Labs. We use Black TUSQ XL nuts on all of our guitars. We build metal bodied electric guitars and with the metal, lots of energy stays in the body and strings. The Graph Tech nuts are the best we have found at keeping this energy alive, creating great harmonics and adding significantly to the rich, clear tone of the guitars. As well, the String Saver saddles we have included on our LMG "T" model add more richness to the guitar and contribute to tone clarity. Plus, they are cool because they simply work at reducing string breakage," says Phil Cook of Liquid Metal Guitars.
