    The Kelstone is a new, multi expressive and multi functional string based instrument. It offers any player a wide variety of possible techniques and combinations within. On a single Kelstone there are 9 strings. A full set consists of a double Kelstone, in which the bass section is placed in reverse to the first fingerboard.

    The Kelstone is an easy to learn instrument. For musicians experienced in string or keyboard instruments the Kelstone offers a surplus in creative and expressive ways of playing because of the large scale available (twice over 5 octaves), the logical and left and right handed symmetrical fingering, the physical freedom and performance positions and the numerous styles and manners. For newly starters in making music the Kelstone offers a transparent way of learning, no need to learn different positions as all the intervals are equal and an eyes-on-action instrument, as where you clearly see what you do, without any restraining position.

    Thus making the Kelstone a one of a kind invention with a very close connection to the user, the musician. The Kelstone is easy in its use, in tuning, in set up and travel. The Kelstone can be used in any style of music in any role, leading or rhythm. Anybody interested will be able to play the first tunes after an half hour study, any advanced musician, healing from whatever direction, classical, jazz, pop, rock or hip hop, will be able to use the Kelstone as the utmost versatile instrument for expressing any musical and virtuoso direction up to the highest level.

    The Kelstone will be presented at Music Messe 2008 in Frankfurt.
