JZ Microphones Publishes "A General Guide to Understanding & Using Microphones"

JZ Microphones has written a book titled "A General Guide to Understanding & Using Microphones." It focuses on issues related to the education and knowledge for engineers and everybody who is using or is just starting to use microphones. The new guidebook will be available for public at the MusikMesse 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany, booth #C32, hall 5.1, April 1 ¿¿¿ 4. Having a general knowledge of how microphones work, along with the different recording techniques available and knowing where to place them in order to obtain the best results, is the most important part of capturing the ultimate sound desired. The purpose of this book is to provide essential information about using microphones that allows one to enhance their technical comprehension and audio engineering skills. The guidebook contains 20 pages of A5 size and is divided into three chapters. It was co-authored by chief engineer of JZ Microphones Juris Zarins, international sales maneger Edijs Rudzis and customer relations executive Andis Blinds in collaboration with Daniel Rucerito. The book explains what microphones are, how they work, technique tips, as well as placement methods for a variety of instruments.
