Peavey Electronics has introduced the new JF-1 guitar, an archtop hollow body designed for jazz/fusion musicians. The Peavey JF-1 combines a classic jazz-style guitar design with modern Peavey pickups and several features tailored for maximum comfort and playability. By slightly accentuating the neck angle and employing a set neck design, access to the upper register of the JF-1 is unencumbered, making the guitar more comfortable.

The JF-1 also features a thin, lightweight maple ply guitar body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard and pearl block inlays, quilt cap and cream binding on the body, two Peavey humbucking pickups, two volume controls, two tone controls and a three-way, toggle-style pickup selector.
