ION Audio Unveils Three New Electronic Drum Sets

ION (ionaudio.com) announces three new electronic drum sets: STUDIO SESSION DRUMS, SOUND SESSION DRUMS and PRO SESSION DRUMS. Each drum set is ready to play right out of the box and has been developed to deliver extremely attractive value-for-price performance. All three drum sets will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 12544, Jan. 8-11, 2009.

ION, maker of Drum Rocker, the Official Premium Drum Set for Rock Band 2, introduces STUDIO SESSION DRUMS, an affordable, fun way to learn to play the drums; SOUND SESSION DRUMS, a performance-ready, wallet-friendly drum set; and PRO SESSION DRUMS, a new level of quality at an old-fashioned price.

STUDIO SESSION DRUMS contain everything a new drummer needs to start playing using their Windows PC, thanks to the drum set's computer-connection box. Four natural feel drum pads and two cymbal pads mount to the adjustable stand, resulting in complete positioning flexibility. Drummers will enjoy the drum set's two foot pedals and appreciate that all cables are included, along with a pair of drum sticks. The drum set also comes with a CD-ROM containing play-along music and a challenging game, enabling aspiring musicians to start drumming in no time. Drummers can even record and export their performances as MP3 files. The drum set can also be used with other Mac and PC MIDI software for years of performance and production.

SOUND SESSION DRUMS are similar to STUDIO SESSION DRUMS, with one big difference: they come with a studio-quality sound module. Drummers can simply plug in headphones or an amplifier and be ready to play in a band or along with their favorite music.

PRO SESSION DRUMS take drummers to new heights with a heavy gauge aluminum drum rack, large, heavy-duty drum pads, real swinging cymbal pads, and a high-quality sound module that is ready for the stage and studio.
