Proving he’s more than just a rock star, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has made it his mission to bring a top quality bass to players around the world, at a price that they truly can afford.

The all-new Street Bass uses top quality materials and is built with careful attention to detail. The fully adjustable, heavy-duty cast metal bridge/tailpiece has a large bridge-to-body footprint, which gives the bass an extremely resonant coupling to the basswood body.  The strings can be strung through the body for excellent sustain or can be strung at the bridge for rich tone, depending on the player’s preference.  The maple neck has a smooth satin finish, and access to the upper frets for Flea-style jamming is easy, thanks to the contoured heel at the base of the neck.  Players will be amazed at how comfortable and easy to play the bass is.  The dual coil Alnico “humbucking” pickup gives the Fleabass a low end thump and powerful midrange punch that magnifies fat lows and sweet glossy highs.  Vintage style elephant ear tuners and a vibrant array of color choices put the Street Bass squarely in the target zone for players who appreciate classic styling but want some unique flair.

Every Fleabass is set up professionally in the USA to have clean, low action for awesome playability and a great feel.  Color choices include Silver Sparkle, Classic White, Black and Blue.  The Streetbass has a MAP starting at $299.99 and is available now.

Flea, the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and perhaps the most recognized bass player in modern music has made it his personal mission to develop young people’s love for music by crafting his own line of basses, Fleabass. With the goal of offering young players instruments that are playable, great sounding, and affordable, Fleabass gives bassists instruments they can be both proud of and excited about.
