IK Multimedia to Release T-RackS Plug-In for Roland's VS Recorders

IK Multimedia will be releasing their T-RackS analog modeled mastering plug-in for the Roland VS hard disk recording system.

The plug-in will be able to run on the new VS8F-3 Roland expansion board just announced, which will expand the possibility of Roland VS hard-Disk recording systems by allowing users to load 3rd party plug-ins.

T-RackS will give musicians using Roland VS systems a complete set of mastering tools modeled after vintage analog EQs and dynamics processors.

T-RackS VS plug-in will offer 2 master processors:

• EQ - a six band parametric EQ
• Dynamics - a stereo tube compressor/leveler and a multiband master stereo Limiter with soft-clipping, integrated in one processor

T-RackS VS plug for Roland VS HD system will be available in June 2004 at $299 MSRP.
