Delivered by a senior member of the Guitar Institute (part of London's Institute of Contemporary Music Performance) teaching faculty, this event will give participants a rare insight into how the pros approach blues performance playing. The workshop will feature an incredible Institute staff backing band, members of whom have performed with Elton John, Martin Taylor, and Nathalie Imbruglia, to name just a few! As if that wasn't impressive enough, this will be a performance focused event - with audience members being invited to get up and play with some of the UK's top session players. Hands-on learning from and with the best!

Grammy award winner Larry Carlton ( see also www.Mr335.tv ) is one of the world's most important contemporary blues players and is perhaps best known among guitarists for his work during the 1970's and 1980's with the Crusaders and Steely Dan. He combined his universally acclaimed involvement with these bands with a prolific and prestigious session and solo career. His blues/jazz crossover lines are some of the most distinctive in the guitar playing world and he has become synonymous with playing Gibson guitars. This event is unmissable for any guitarist looking to garner first-hand inspiration and insight from a guitar world leader.
