The new TCY20 is being added to the Ibanez family of Talman acoustic-electric guitars. The new Talman features a figured ash top and body and an Ibanez piezo pickup with an Ibanez AE201 2-band EQ.

The Ibanez Talman acoustic-electric guitar lists for $389.99 and is available in Vintage Violin High Gloss Finish (VV) and Transparent Red High Gloss Finish (TCR).

Commented Irene Schvartsman of the Ibanez Acoustic Guitar division in Bensalem, PA, "The Talman's comfortable body shape is an original Ibanez design that actually got its start as an electric guitar in back in early 90's when alternative music was in full gear--as a matter of fact, the Noodles Signature Model electric still features the Talman shape. The Talman double cutaway design made it perfect as an acoustic-electric guitar shape for rockers who wanted the comfort and size of electric with the sound of an acoustic guitar.

All 2004 Talman acoustic-electrics come equipped with ultra-hard Ivorex II nuts and saddles and Advantage bridge pins, which allow easy string changes with complete string security.
