HHX Philharmonic Make Christopher Lamb Sound Ideas a Reality

Working in collaboration with Christopher Lamb, principal percussionist with the New York Symphony Orchestra, SABIAN has created HHX Philharmonic, a new multi-application hand cymbal pairing, designed to meet Lamb's request for a cymbal that offered the ultimate in versatility without compromise. Responding with full, musical sounds with pronounced mid-range partials and enhanced sustain, the HHX Philharmonic is a medium/heavy pairing in 16" and 18" sizes that has been aggressively hammered -- more than other HHX cymbals -- on top and bottom. HHX Philharmonic cymbals are hand crafted from SABIAN B20 bronze, their tonal grooves are cut with pinpoint lathing.
