    By Guest |

Guitar Center today announced that it has teamed up with the legendary Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp® for a sweepstakes in which one lucky winner will win an all-inclusive trip to live the rock 'n' roll life at The Royal Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp® this May in England. The prize package includes airfare, hotel accommodations, camp admission, $1000 spending money and a chance to play with legendary rock musicians such as Jack Bruce of Cream, Gary Brooker of Procol Harum, members of Queen, The Pretenders and Bad Company. The highlight of the camp will be an opportunity to record and perform at London's Abbey Road Studios where legends such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Who have recorded some of the most famous albums in music history. In addition, the lucky winner will also play live at Liverpool's Cavern Club, the venue made famous by The Beatles in the early 1960's.

The winner will jam alongside rock legends, rehearse with their band, and take master classes from special guest stars including camp counselors Spike Edney (Queen), Spencer Davis (Spencer Davis Group), Neil Murray (Whitesnake & Black Sabbath), Simon Kirke (Bad Company), Jamie Moses (Mike & the Mechanics, The Pretenders), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Mick Ralph (Bad Company), Paul Carrack (Squeeze and Mike & the Mechanics), and many more!

David Fishof, CEO/founder and producer of the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, stated, "Each year we team up with Guitar Center to help people live their musical dreams -- and that's why our partnership works so well. The Royal Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp Sweepstakes kicks it up another notch by going to England -- the home of the British music invasion that helped forge the sound of rock music in the 1960's right through today. I'm glad our relationship with Guitar Center continues to grow each year."

The Royal Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp Sweepstakes promotion will run from January 29, 2007 through February 20, 2007, culminating with the winner announcement in early March. Interested participants can submit entries at any Guitar Center location or online at www.guitarcenter.com.
