  • Guitar Center and Cleartone Strings Go Green with String Recycle Program

    By Guest |

Cleartone Strings and Guitar Center have announced the first guitar string recycling program for your used guitar sets.

Starting June 1, 2010, customers can bring in any used guitar string to Guitar Center stores nationwide and will get $1.00 discount off all Cleartone string sets. Bring in any type or brand of used guitar strings to qualify.

"Even if they are old mandolin strings, just bring them to any Guitar Center and trade them in," says Jason Everly, of Cleartone Strings. Jason continues, "We are trying to do our part to minimize the landfills and at the same time help players save some money."

Guitar Center and Cleartone Strings will launch the first string recycling program for the entire month of June and at Guitar Center stores nationwide. For more information about this program, please visit http://www.cleartonestrings.com or www.guitarcenter.com
