Los Angeles, CA—February 7, 2012
Alfred Music Publishing, the official print music publisher of thousands  of popular artists, songwriters, and composers, is proud to release a  new simplified edition of Green Day: Sheet Music Anthology, a collection of hits from six of the band’s hallmark albums, arranged for Easy Piano by Carol Matz.

Green Day: Sheet Music Anthology contains 19 of the band’s  top songs including “American Idiot,” “Longview,” “Good Riddance (Time  of Your Life),” “Welcome to Paradise,” “Holiday,” and much more.  Lyrics  and guitar chords are included with each song as well, making it a great resource for musicians who are fans of  the band.

Green Day, the award-winning punk/alternative rock trio, is highly  regarded as one of the most influential bands on the music scene.  In  2005, they won the “Record of the Year” Grammy® Award for their studio album Boulevard of Broken Dreams, as well as “Best Rock Album” for 21st Century Breakdown in 2009. Their most recent release, Awesome as F**k, is a compilation of live music recorded from their 21st Century Breakdown tour.  They currently have an American Idiot Broadway tour that commenced back in April of 2010 boasting over 400 performances and counting.

As part of Alfred’s ongoing commitment to improving the environment, the songbook is printed on 100% recycled paper.
